Just to reiterate the connection between the Maranatha book and RLC and to add another dimension to the puzzle-
As we know, the titles to the chapters of the book all refer to Sauniere and the RLC mystery.  "Terribilis Est Locus Iste" is written above the doorway to the church of Mary Magdalene in Rennes le Chateau:
